In Saint-Étienne, green is more than a color. It’s the most powerful thing there is. Le Vert is the heart of ASSE, and all AS Saint-Étienne jerseys for the coming season will therefore be part of the hummel campaign “Le Vert is our nature”. With this movement, the Danish sportswear brand wants to celebrate ASSE and the power of nature that surrounds Saint-Étienne.
For this first collaboration between hummel and ASSE, the home and away jerseys feature the topography of Saint-Étienne as a motif – underlining the club’s roots in its city and region.
The new 2022-2023 home kit features the iconic hummel chevrons on the shoulders and sleeves of the famous Green shirt for the first time. The green shorts and green socks also feature the hummel chevrons in white contrast.

The away kit, completely white, is characterized by a central stripe on the front of the jersey.
The 2022-2023 home and away kits are also the first to feature the new ASSE logo, symbol of the club’s new graphic identity.
The new goalkeeper jersey is also inspired by the “Green is our nature” campaign. It is designed as a color combination of the club’s traditional green mixed with the blue and yellow of the city crest. This kit has been created with the supporters in mind, with a short-sleeved design ideal for wearing in the stands.

The eco-responsible design of these jerseys reflects the common desire of hummel and AS Saint-Étienne to make a commitment to the environment.“
As part of AS Saint-Étienne’s CSR strategy, the club is committed to contributing to protecting the future of our planet. This commitment is shared by hummel, who have produced all three kits this season using special ECO8 technology. Thus, each jersey is made from a high performance polyester produced from eight recycled plastic bottles.
